Your Vote Needed for One of Our World University Venues
SportsTravel Magazine, a top sports tourism publication in the U.S. has opened up voting for its annual SportsTravel Awards. These awards are considered the “Oscars” of the sports tourism industry. Among the nominees competing for the Gold in the category of Best New or Renovated Venue is the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary.
The Triangle Sports Commission (TSC), which led the bid for the World University Games, also successfully led the regional bid that brought USA Baseball’s Headquarters and National Training Complex to North Carolina’s Triangle area. The TSC was also instrumental in the planning and development of the new headquarters and training center in Cary. The USA Baseball Complex will serve as a training site and potential competition site for the 2029 World University Games Baseball competition.
Therefore, we encourage you to follow this link to the SportsTravel Awards voting. USA Baseball’s National Training Complex appears in the next-to-last category. You are not obligated to vote in any of the other categories, but you must scroll to the end and submit your vote in order for your ballot to count.
